The 2018 municipal election is still a couple of months away, but that doesn’t mean candidates haven’t already started jockeying for position.

To help you stay informed and in the know about what the candidates are saying, Sudbury.com has once again rolled out an Election page, where you will find the latest news from the race, including stories produced by our news team, as well as press releases and statements issued by the campaigns.

You can find the page here or look for the red-coloured “Election” menu item at the top of the Sudbury.com homepage.

We have reached out to those candidates who provided contact info to the municipality when they registered. Not all candidates have responded to our invitation to provide a photo, biography, platform and other information for the electorate, and not all candidates provided contact information.

If you are a candidate and either haven’t heard from us, didn't provided contact info, haven’t responded or haven’t checked your junk mail folder, we encourage you to take advantage of this free service Sudbury.com is offering to mayoral, councillor and school board trustee candidates to help you get your message out to voters.

Press releases, platforms, bios and photographs should be emailed to Sudbury.com at [email protected].
