The City of Greater Sudbury is currently is the process of renaming duplicate street names within the region starting with streets who have been christened yet have not yet been opened. This applies to all subdivisions yet to be developed and will not affect anyone?s street address.
City council will be holding a public meeting July 25 at 3:30 pm at Tom Davies Square, Room C-11 inviting local persons or groups to address the street naming committee regarding their views on this matter.
Register with the city clerk?s office by July 21 by phoning 671-2489, ext. 4209 if you wish to speak before the committee.
