Meagan Pilon of Sudbury was last seen by her father, Marc, on Sept. 11, 2013. While her disappearance is a cold case, efforts to locate her or find out what happened to her continue with the efforts of a volunteer group called Please Bring Me Home.

Nearly twelve years after her disappearance, the search for a missing Sudbury teenager continues with a $50,000 reward being offered for information.

On Sept. 16, 2013, Meagan Pilon was reported missing to the Greater Sudbury Police Service (GSPS). She was last observed entering her residence on Sept. 12, 2013. Investigators believe she left her residence during the early hours of Sept. 13, 2013.

At the time of her disappearance, Pilon was 15 years old, 5-10 tall (178 cm) with a slim build, brown hair and hazel eyes. She has a circular scar on her right cheek and a bunny tattoo on her left shoulder blade.

Foul play is suspected in Meagan's disappearance. Despite extensive searches as part of the ongoing investigation, Meagan has not been located.

“Someone in our community knows something which will assist in locating Meagan,” reads a release from GSPS. “The Greater Sudbury Police Service remains committed to investigating the circumstances of Meagan Pilon’s disappearance and finding answers for her loved ones and the community.”

Now, the Ontario government is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the disappearance of Pilon.

The investigation continues with GSPS, under the direction of the OPP’s Criminal Investigation Branch. Anyone with information in relation to this investigation is encouraged to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or GSPS at 705-675-9171, ext. 6714.
