Rainbow Cinemas, the company planning to open the new cinema in the Rainbow Centre (the match in names is a coincidence) has put out a call for employees.

They will be hosting a job fair from 1 to 5 pm Saturday, Sept. 11 in the mall?s centre court.

The company is looking for hosts, snack bar and box office attendants. Employees will be cross-trained in all positions.

Those interested are asked to bring a detailed resume outlining qualifications, availability, references and job preference. Previous experience in a cinema is considered an asset.

Rainbow Cinemas is owned by Magic Lantern Theatres, a motion picture exhibition company established in Edmonton in 1984.

Magic Lantern Theatres operates 16 cinema locations with 74 screens in Canada, including seven cinemas under the Rainbow Cinemas banner.
