Nickel City Sons looking to score big for food bank

Team has put out the challenge to other minor hockey teams to donate food items

Little Guys’ Pizza has teamed up with the Nickel City AAA Minor Bantam Sons to raise awareness and donated items for the Infant Food Bank and Local Food Bank in November.

The Minor Bantam AAA Sons have sent out the challenge to other local hockey associations to donate to this initiate and drop off your team items at Little Guys’ in Azilda for a chance to win a team pizza party.

Little Guys’ is also offering 10 per cent off any large pizza for any donation brought into the store.

Greater Sudbury's minor hockey community is stepping up with commitments from the AAA Minor Bantam Sons, Novice A Knights, Minor Atom A Knights, Major A Peewee Sharks and the Minor Atom AA Sons so far.

Bring a donation to the game this Saturday in Capreol at 4:15 p.m. or Sunday at 10 a.m. in Chelmsford and cheer on the AAA Bantam Sons as they hit the ice against the AAA Soo Greyhounds.
