Update: Nickel District Pool has re-opened after watermain break

Updated at Jan. 11 at 9:51 a.m.: Nickel District Pool in New Sudbury has re-opened after being closed Jan.10 due to a watermain break.

The pool, located off Falconbridge Road next to St. Charles College, was forced to cancel all prorgraming Thursday due to the break.

All programs are now back up and running, including a free public swim from 6:30-7:55 p.m. tonight.

Nickel District Pool is closed until further notice due to a nearby watermain break, Greater Sudbury announced Thursday afternoon. 

“All programs, including this evening’s Aquacise, have been cancelled until repairs are complete,” the release said.
