Award-winning singer-songwriter Ben Sures stopped by the Northern Lights Festival Boréal office during his visit in February to play a few tunes for this instalment of NLFB Office Sessions.
Joining him is Rebecca Campbell, acclaimed singer, musician and occasional songwriter.
Ben and Rebecca performed to a packed Fromagerie Elgin later that evening, but not before sharing the award-winning song Any Precious Girl and the biographical track entitled The Boy Who Walked Backwards Through the Snow.
Ben Sures was one of the highlights during the 2015 edition of the festival, sharing his unique storytelling perspective.
Sures explains that he “can only really deliver conviction if it’s kind of based in truth," serving as a kind of musical journalist.
“I always love having Ben come through,” NLFB executive/artistic director Max Merrifield says, “he’s such a witty, unique songwriter and I feel this session video really showcases his talents."
The NLFB Office Sessions are proudly presented by Sudbury.com, Here Kitty Kitty Productions and Northern Lights Festival Boréal.
Stay tuned for new instalments in the series in the coming months.
