Nominations are now open for Sudbury’s 40 Under Forty awards.
Our 40 Under Forty awards seek to recognize emerging leaders who are actively involved and excelling in their chosen professions and those who make contributions to our community.
What qualities will these 40 young leaders possess? Here are some examples of the types of people our independent panel of judges is looking for:
• They are visionaries and innovators who are involved and engaged;
• They are committed individuals who are working to achieve their full potential;
• They are a driving force behind economic growth;
• They are our most important resource, guiding our city into the future.
These individuals will be honored during a special recognition gala dinner at the Caruso Club on Nov. 2.
The nomination deadline is June 16.
Entries are open to all public and private sector young leaders under the age of 40, residing in the City of Greater Sudbury and Manitoulin area.
Submitting a nomination (or several) is easy.
1. Fill out the form, which can be found here, to provide a quick overview of the candidate and contact information.
2. Provide a quick summary of each of the following criteria:
- Provide the nominees title and a short description of the candidate’s company/employer;
- Give a brief description of the nominees professional accomplishments, include awards, distinctions, special projects, speeches, or published articles;
- Include information on service/membership in community/charitable organizations or associations;
- Provide three professional references, name, telephone, and email.
