NorthernLife.ca welcomes new reporter

NorthernLife.ca welcomed a new reporter into the newsroom this week.

A graduate of the University of Guelph and Sheridan College, Mallika Viegas comes to NorthernLife.ca from CIB24.com, where she was the host and writer of the webshow “#Hashtag.”

She's also done work for Roger's Television, interned with CBC's “The National” and done human rights work in India and Southeast Asia.

Viegas will be NorthernLife.ca's new media reporter while videographer Heather Green-Oliver is off on maternity leave.
