The government of Ontario announced today its intention to help Greater Sudbury's tourism industry with a $one-million investment for the expansion of Dynamic Earth.
The expansion will help fund a 160-seat multi-purpose theatre equipped with high-tech projectors, changes to existing exhibits, upgrades to the main lobby and changes to the outdoor landscape of Dynamic Earth.
"The expansion of Dynamic Earth enhances Science North's creative combination of of tourism attraction, educational facility and tribute to the north's mining heritage," said Ontario Tourism Minister Jim Bradley.
