Ontera wins $450,000 Collège Boréal contract

(CNW) Ontera has been awarded an 18-month, $450,000 contract with Collège Boréal for the provision of fully integrated telecommunications products and services.

Through the term of the agreement, Ontera will provide Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Networks (LAN) data services to all of the College's Northern Ontario campuses and to seven of the College's southern Ontario locations.

The deal goes beyond the provision of traditional telecommunications products and services; it was designed to deliver enhanced value to Collège Boréal by positioning Ontera as a partner in delivering IP solutions. Ontera provides enhanced reach, speed, bandwidth and reliability to businesses like Collège Boréal by enabling the IP-based applications essential to business success.

"This agreement will significantly enhance our network," commented Gisèle Chrétien, president of Collège Boréal. "Effective application of state-of-the- art technology will improve our network capacity, reliability and security.

The outcome will be better, faster and more cost-efficient data, video-conference and communication services."
