The Sioux Lookout OPP is investigating after two men were struck and killed by a train in the tiny hamlet of Hudson yesterday afternoon.

Just before 5 p.m. on March 30, officers responded to a report of two pedestrians being struck by a Canadian National Railway train in Hudson, a village of about 300 on the shore of Lost Lake.

Police report that when they arrived to the scene, both pedestrians were found to be deceased.

The men have been identified as Eric Gray, 40, and Lloyd Quedent, 36, both of Lac Seul First Nation.

The Sioux Lookout OPP and CN Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident. The OPP reported it doesn’t suspect foul play at this time.
