The Ontario SPCA Sudbury and District Animal Centre is on a holiday mission to rehome adoptable pets this year.

iAdopt for the Holidays is currently underway, with the goal of giving an animal in need the gift of a forever home.

Last year, close to 3,330 animals from across Canada were adopted through the holiday campaign.

With many people enjoying time off during the holidays and being home together as a family, now is the perfect time to welcome an animal into your life, said the OSPCA. Together as a family, you can spend time with your new furry friend and help them settle into their new home.

“Every animal deserves to have a special person or family to love and care for them,” said Jennifer Hughes, manager, Ontario SPCA Sudbury & District Animal Centre. “iAdopt for the Holidays is all about making lifetime matches.”

Animals adopted through the Ontario SPCA are spayed or neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. Plus, there are great prizes to be won during iAdopt for the Holidays. Adopters will be automatically entered for a chance to win the iAdopt grand prize. Already have an adopted pet? Visit iadopt.ca to enter Canada’s Cutest Adopted Pet Contest for your chance to win weekly prizes.

If you’re not in a position to adopt right now, or if you already have a pet at home, you can still help an animal in need by making an online gift. Visit pawsandgive.ca for more information.
