Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Greater Sudbury and the surrounding area.

Mostly cloudy skies expected for Saturday and a 60 per cent chance of snow.

East winds up to 20 km/h, will make the high of -1 C feel more like -13 C in the morning and -7 C in the afternoon.

Periods of snow accumulating to 2 cm, predicted to change to freezing rain after midnight.

Gusting southeast winds between 30-60 km/h are expected to make the low of -3 C feel more like -10 C overnight.
