Youthink, a group of Greater Sudbury teens, will have an opportunity to see the fruits of their labours bloom tonight at a panel discussion with adults from the community.
Earlier in the month, Youthink members participated in the Switch Shoes exercise where they were partnered with "adults of influence" who shadowed their young counterparts for a few hours.
Greater Sudbury Mayor Dave Courtemanche, police inspector Gene Toffoli, local radio personality Terry Callaghan, Catholic School Board director of education Zandra Zubac and Northern Life associate editor Tracey Duguay paired with the teens.
They will share their thoughts on ways to increase youth inclusion in Greater Sudbury.
"Often there are times when youth shadow adults to gain knowledge about their occupation and their lifestyle," said Youthink member Alexandra Hickey, at the onset of the Switch Shoes exercise.
"We thought we would offer an interesting alternative by having the adults shadow the youth."
The panel discussion takes place tonight from 6 to 8 pm at the Social Planning Council gym at 30 St. Anne Rd.
