Sudbury is now home to Ontario's first Papa Murphy's.
The take-and-bake pizza franchise has more than 20 locations across Canada including Alberta, Manitoba and British Columbia.
The Sudbury location is located inside the former Maria's Restaurant at 499 Notre Dame Avenue.
In September, Sudbury.com met up with local business owner Muhammad Afzal. Afzal planned to open the new restaurant in October but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the grand opening was postponed.
At Papa Murphy's, customers can order their pizza cooked or purchase a take-and-bake pizza that they can cook at home in their own oven.
