The foundation, an agency of the Ministry of Culture, receives annually $100 million of government funding generated by charity casinos.

The Azilda Lions Club will receive $75,000 to make the Lions Old Town Hall Community Centre accessible and more energy-efficient. Big Sisters of Sudbury and District will receive $105,000 over three years to provide services for young girls from disadvantaged homes.

The Caruso Club will receive $75,000 to rebuild the bridge from the parking lot to the upper hall, making the entrance accessible and safe for seniors and people with disabilities.

The Kiwanis Music Festival will receive $46,000 to purchase a new grand piano and to service five other grand pianos.

Northern Sliders Sledge Hockey Association will receive $25,000 over to its program for people with disabilities.

The Social Planning Council of the Sudbury Region will receive $9,500 to establish a network for staff of social
service agencies that provide access to information and training through monthly workshops.
