Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Ukrainian Seniors' Centre cancelled its traditional fundraising events this year, including the annual blueberry garden party and the garlic food fest.

But perogy and cabbage roll lovers can still get their fill by calling ahead to pre-order their meals for curbside pick-up.

On July 16, the Ukrainian Seniors' Centre will be celebrating the blueberry by taking orders for the following items:

  • Prepackaged perogies and cabbage rolls for $9 per dozen
  • Hot luncheon with perogies, cabbage rolls and hamburger for $10 each
  • Nalysnyky (crepes) with blueberry sauce for $3 each
  • Blueberry tarts $1.50 each

Themed cloth face masks are also available for $5 each.

Keeping with the current restrictions surrounding the pandemic, there will not be any displays, tables or tents and loitering is not permitted on site.

Curbside pick-up is by appointment only. Place your order by phoning 705-673-7404.

The Ukrainian Seniors' Centre is located at 30 Notre Dame Avenue in Sudbury.
