During the 2013-2014 school year, four students from École Alliance St-Joseph in Chelmsford mobilized and created the "Everything counts!" committee. Danica Aubrey (president), Danika Potvin (vice-president), Hailey Chartrand and Megan Beaudry (treasurers) united their energy to raise funds for the Solidarity-Burundi Initiative that seeks to build a school in this African country. To attain their goal, the students built many items through the use of duct tap and foot scrubs that were sold afterwards. They also held a garage sale. Proud of their efforts, the four Alliance St-Joseph students presented a slide show to their fellow students and presented a $1,200 donation to the Solidarity-Burundi committee.
