It's that time of year again: Ribfest has invaded Downtown Sudbury.
The annual Labour Day long weekend tradition is a fixture of the summer events calendar in Greater Sudbury and today, thousands were out for the sights, sounds, smells and, above all, tastes of the Nickel City's favourite food festival.
So, what will you find at Ribfest? Well, ribs, obviously. But you can pair those slabs of pork with other staples like chicken, pulled pork, brisket and baked beans.
Further on, you'll find more treats including beavertails, candy apples, tornado potatoes and blooming onions.
An estimated 55,000 visited Ribfest last year and, if these photos are any indication, the 2017 edition is on par to meet or beat that attendance.
Ribfest continues through Monday in Downtown Sudbury.
