$3K handed out to two organizations at Feb. 24 meeting

Just before the Rotary Club of Sudbury got down to business at its Feb. 24 meeting, it doled out thousands of dollars in donations.

Both the McEwen School of Architecture and NEO Kids Foundation are beneficiaries of this year's fundraising efforts from the Paul Harris Dinner, where the Rotary Club of Sudbury honoured Kate Bowman, Terrance Galvin and Blaine Nicholls for the work they did to get the McEwen School of Architecture up and running.

“Each of them went well beyond the call of duty to make sure that the school is an integral part of our community,” said the Rotary Club in a news release.

Net proceeds of the dinner were raised for NEO Kids Foundation, the Rotary Foundation and an award to a Masters of Architecture student for work in service of community.
