A Slow Roll Convoy demonstration took place in Sudbury Saturday afternoon.
Roughly 130 vehicles took part in the demonstration, slowly rolling down major Sudbury streets, horns honking, and vehicles decked out with flags and signs. Most of the vehicles taking part were personal vehicles, but we did count five transports and two dump trucks as of the beginning of the demonstration.
Similar protests are also being held elsewhere in support of the convoy demonstrations in Ottawa.
Greater Sudbury Police were on scene to ensure public safety.
