PHSD confirms twenty-sixth case of COVID-19 in the region

Public Health Sudbury and Districts (PHSD) has reported a new case of COVID-19 in Greater Sudbury, bringing the total number of cases in the region to 26.

The most recent case is a woman in her 70s, who is believed to have contracted the virus from international travel before returning home to Greater Sudbury. No travel information has been provided. 

This individual was tested on April 1 and has since been hospitalized. 

There have been 22 cases confirmed in Greater Sudbury, two cases in Sudbury and two cases in the Manitoulin district since the outbreak.
