The Daniel Lanois Trio will be hitting the stage in the Grande Salle at Place Des Arts on Sunday, May 28, presented by la Slague du Carrefour francophone.

A release from Place des arts states that the trio’s musical journey started on the outskirts of Berlin, in a small chapel, with a three-part harmony. “Jermaine Holmes is there, on drums, the mighty Jim Wilson on bass, and Lanois on guitar. Their three voices blend and echo.”

That “dynamic configuration” is now being presented as a live performance. “The more Lanois travels, the more he feels that mediums merge into one another; the record, the radio, the internet, TV, festivals, life itself and, of course, singing,” continues the release.

This event will be presented and will take place this Sunday, May 28 at 7.30 p.m. at the Grande Salle of Place des Arts of Greater Sudbury. You can find more information and purchase tickets here
