A planned power outage will affect all Greater Sudbury Hydro customers in Copper Cliff on both Sunday, Aug. 9 and Sunday Aug. 16 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Greater Sudbury Hydro contacted affected residential customers through automated phone calls Monday evening to notify them of the upcoming power interruptions.

Hydro One will be interrupting transmission to the Clarabelle Transmission Station in order to complete scheduled maintenance work.

Greater Sudbury Hydro will take advantage of the interruptions in supply to conduct equipment maintenance in Copper Cliff during those times.
