Police ID men charged in connection with the murder of Sudbury man

The Ontario Provincial Police have identified the two men charged in connection with  the murder of Devin Collin, 32, the Sudbury man whose remains were found along Highway 17, south of the Michipicoten River Bridge, on June 29. 

Collin had been reported missing on June 17, and the investigation following the discovery of his body revealed his death to be a homicide. 

Facing charges in connection with the incident are Houssein Hassan, a 24-year-old from Toronto who is charged with first-degree murder, and he appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in Sault Ste Marie on Wednesday.

Demitri Fortomaris, a 22-year-old, from Mississauga, is charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

In a news release, the OPP said the investigation is being led by Det. Insp. Martin Graham, of the Criminal Investigation Branch.
