Police provide updated information on missing woman 'Wendy'

Police now say she was last seen May 1 in New Sudbury, and provided an image from security footage

Greater Sudbury Police have released some updated information on a missing woman named Catherine, who also goes by Wendy.

Police had previously said she was last seen April 30 in the area of Bruce Avenue.

However, police now say she was last seen just before 4 p.m. on May 1 in New Sudbury, wearing blue jeans, grey hoody, blk & white windbreaker-style jacket & brown leather boots, providing an image of the woman that appears to have been taken from security footage (see below).

Anyone with information is asked to phone police at 705-675-9171.

Greater Sudbury police are looking for a missing woman named Catherine, who also goes by Wendy.

Police no longer release the last names of missing people.

She is 48 years of age, 5’3”, 130 lbs, with brown hair and blue eyes.

There is no available description of her clothing.

She was last seen on April 30 in the area of Bruce Avenue.

In a post on the social media platform X, police noted that they are concerned for her well-being. Anyone with information is asked to phone 705 675 9171.
