Political science prof. wins LU award

Dr. Rand Dyck has won Laurentian University's Teaching Excellence Award for 2001-02.
Dr. Rand Dyck has won Laurentian University's Teaching Excellence Award for 2001-02. Since his arrival at the department of political science in 1971, Dyck has taught courses in Canadian and provincial governments and politics, and Constitutional law. The award recognizes his qualities as a teacher, his mentorship role with his students, and his great communication skills.

A reception in his honour will be held in Laurentian's Governors' Lounge, 11th floor, R.D. Parker Building, Wednesday, April 3 at 2 pm. He will present a lecture entitled A Passion for One's Subject(s).

The Students General Association awarded Dyck the 1999-2000 Exceptional Teaching Performance Award.
