Residents of Naughton and Whitefish may notice discoloured water and low water pressure starting at 9 am on Monday, Nov. 7 until 6 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 9.
This possible disruption to water service results from routine cleaning and maintenance of nearby watermains. Flushing and swabbing disturbs harmless sediments that can result in red or brown coloured tap water. Residents are advised to check water clarity, before starting laundry or dishwashers.
Prolonged discolouration or low water pressure should be reported to the City's public works 24-hour telephone information and emergency line at 560-2022.
