Update: Power restored to most homes, Hydro One says

Less than 20 customers still affected, power should be restored by 4:15 p.m.

Update 1:40 p.m.

Power has been restored to all but a handful of homes, Hydro One said Wednesday afternoon. Its update outage map says less than 20 customers are still affected and power should be restored by 4:15 p.m.

A power outage has left 2,669 Hydro One customers in Greater Sudbury without power, the utility said in a news release Wednesday.

The affected areas include Blezard Valley, Rayside-Balfour, Dowling and Fairbank.

The cause is unknown, Hydro One said, but crews have been dispatched to investigate. 
Power went out around 11:30 this morning, and the early estimate for when the lights will come back on is 2:45 p.m.
