Princess Anne gearing up for Pow Wow

Princess Anne Public School will host its first Pow Wow June 6 starting at 10 a.m. at the school. The Pow Wow will showcase Aboriginal culture such as drumming, dancing, singing and art.

Princess Anne Public School will host its first Pow Wow June 6 starting at 10 a.m. at the school.

The Pow Wow will showcase Aboriginal culture such as drumming, dancing, singing and art.

“Students are very excited to take part in the Pow Wow,” said Principal Colleen McDonald, in a press release. “The Pow Wow is an opportunity for children, parents/guardians, teachers, staff and members of the community to come together and enjoy First Nations traditions.”

The public is welcome to attend this free event. Please bring a lunch and drinks and plan to enjoy the day.
