Product recall: Nutribar brand meal replacement powder

Chocolate-flavoured drink mix contains egg

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is recalling Nutribar brand Original Chocolate Supreme Meal Replacement Powder due to an undeclared ingredient.

The food products watchdog says the meal replacement powder contains undeclared eggs. 

It is manufactured by Stella Pharmaceutical Canada Inc. and sold nationally, as well as through internet sales. 

The product can be identified by its product code and UPC. The product code is BB: 2016 NO 20 NBC3244, while the UPC is 6 27578 00573 4.

If you have this product in your cupboard and have or someone in the household has an egg allergy, the product should be throw out or returned to the store where it was purchased.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the product.
