Valued at $15,000, the awards is administered by the Canada Council for the Arts. The winners will be announced on Nov. 12.

Dickson qualified for his compilations of poems Humains paysages en temps de paix relative, published by Sudbury?s Prise de parole.

This long-time Laurentian professor has been involved in the Sudbury, Franco-Ontarian and French-Canadian art scene since the 1970s.
