Public invited to Nov. 11 service at Sudbury Arena today

If you can't make the ceremony, Sudbury.com has you covered with live coverage

The public is invited to Sudbury Arena on Friday morning for the annual Remembrance Day ceremony.

Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and the ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m.

Greater Sudbury Transit will offer free transportation to and from the Sudbury Arena for the service. Riders are asked to tell the driver they are attending the ceremony.

Free parking will be available at municipal parking lots and meters for those attending the ceremony.

The City of Greater Sudbury has a free parking program for War Pensioners of Canada. Veterans with a valid poppy vehicle licence plate are permitted four hours free parking in the city, year round.

Everyone is encouraged to wear red to show support and appreciation for Canadian Forces.
