The second series of public meetings for the Ramsey Lake subwatershed study will continue with an open house May 18, Greater Sudbury has announced in a news release.

The session takes place from 4-6 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 76, 1553 Weller St. in Sudbury.

“Water resources are an important aspect of daily living in our community,” the release said. “From drinking water for our residents and animals, to the support of habitat for our plants and wildlife, and great recreation opportunities for residents, protecting our watersheds is a priority outlined in the City of Greater Sudbury Official Plan.”

The meeting will offer updates on additional research and field work completed to date, which will provide direction for developing the management targets and objectives for the watershed.

Submit feedback online until May 25 at 4:30 p.m.
