Greater Sudbury Police are investigating a series of early morning robberies of downtown businesses.

Between Oct. 10 and Tuesday morning, four businesses have been robbed, with the assailant breaking a window to gain access, quickly grabbing whatever they could before making their getaway.

Police spokesperson Kaitlyn Dunn said there have been two incidents on Minto Street, one on Larch and one on Durham. The first took place Oct. 10, followed by incidents on Oct. 15th, 16th and 17th.

“That's what they investigation is looking at,” Dunn said, when asked whether police believe it's the same person behind all the robberies.
