The Rayside Balfour Canadians Jr. A Hockey Club is hoping to score big with its new fundraiser, the Canadians Care Hockey Fund.

This fund will help raise money for a number of amateur hockey-related causes including financial assistance for player fees and protective equipment needs.

To generate revenues for the fund, the Rayside Balfour Jr. A Canadians will launch a weekly 50-50 online draw that will feature it’s initial weekly draw on Friday, Oct. 30.

The Canadians are guaranteeing a cash jackpot of $3,000 for the initial draw and everyone can purchase $2 tickets throughout the month of October for a chance to win the initial Cash jackpot.  Credit cards accepted.

“The Rayside Balfour Canadians are pleased to initiate this fundraiser to assist local families with their childrens’ registration fees” said Rayside Balfour Canadians managing director Blaine Smith.

“The pandemic has had a devastating effect on many local families, and we are organizing this fund to try and assist as many families that we can and as quickly as we can.”

“We are very grateful to the Rayside Balfour Canadians organization for initiating this worthwhile fundraiser for minor hockey parents in need,” said Rayside Minor Hockey Association vice-president Julie Dubois. “We encourage all of our minor hockey parents and people in the community to purchase their 50/50 tickets throughout the hockey season and provide an opportunity for more kids to play the game that they enjoy.”

All adults 18-years-of-age and older are eligible to participate in the online weekly Progressive 50-50 Hockey Jackpot. The Canadians Care 50-50 Hockey Jackpot ticket link can be found at sudbury.com or on the Rayside Balfour Canadians team website. www.rbcanadians.com
