Regency Bakery has made a $2,000 donation to the St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre’s capital campaign to build a new 36-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility in the city.

In honour of the Feast of St. Joseph on March 19, the Italian bakery on Regent Street donated a $1 from the sale of zeppoles, an Italian pastry, between March 15 and March 18 to the St. Joseph’s Foundation of Sudbury.

“We are grateful to Regency Bakery for this generous donation,” Kari Gervais, the president and CEO of St. Joseph’s Health Centre, said in a news release. “On behalf of our residents, patients and staff, thank you!”
