The 2019 Sudbury Police Association Live Butterfly Release in support of Maison McCulloch Hospice will be held on Aug. 18 at Science North.

The event starts at 3:30 p.m. at Science North in front of the Rusty Blakey Monument.

“Come join us for this unique opportunity to celebrate the life of a loved one by releasing a butterfly in their honour or memory,” said a press release.

All funds will benefit the programs and services of Maison McCulloch Hospice.

The hospice is excited to partner with the Greater Sudbury Police Association this year, the press release said.

Butterflies can be purchased for $30 at Maison McCulloch Hospice, Lougheed Funeral Home and Co-operative Funeral Home or by phoning the hospice at 705-674-9252.
