RE/MAX Crown Realty has merged with the Sutton Group Achievers Realty Inc., positioning RE/MAX as the city's only multi-office real estate firm.
Former Sutton Group offices in Chelmsford and Valley East will now operate under the RE/MAX banner. The merger means an increase in the RE/MAX sales force and is expected to boost the company's market share by 10 to 15 percent, increasing it to almost 40 percent.
"This strategic move provides an incredible opportunity to expand our operations to the out-lying areas of Sudbury," said RE/MAX owner and broker Cathy Gregorchuk in a news release.
"This will certainly translate into an increased level of service, greater exposure and benefits for our clients."
The merger brings the total number of realtors working for RE/MAX to 60, with three locations serving residents in Sudbury, Valley East, Nickel Centre, Walden and other surrounding areas.
