The City of Greater Sudbury is draining the Val Caron water tank to perform maintenance tests.

Crews started draining the tank Monday, May 10, and maintenance will be ongoing until Monday, May 24.

Residents shouldn’t notice a change in service but may notice some water discolouration.

Should residents notice discoloured water, run the cold water tap closest to the water meter for several minutes until water is clear of any sediment from water pipes.

In the event of prolonged discolouration or low water pressure, phone 311.
