RioCan Centre to hold ground breaking ceremony

On Friday, Sept. 17 at 11:30 am, City of Greater Sudbury Mayor David Courtemanche will host the ceremonial launch of a 169,211 square foot commercial/retail expansion at the RioCan Centre on Marcus Drive.

On Friday, Sept. 17 at 11:30 am, City of Greater Sudbury Mayor David Courtemanche will host the ceremonial launch of a 169,211 square foot commercial/retail expansion at the RioCan Centre on Marcus Drive.

Courtemanche will be joined by Art Welter, vice-president of development for the Trinity Development Group, and John Caruso, Chair of the Greater Sudbury Development Corporation.

The event will be held regardless of rain or sun. A canopy will be erected at the site to provide shelter from the rain.

It's believed the expansion will be home to numerous retail stores such as Old Navy, PetsMart, Linen and Things and Sportsmart.
