Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Greater Sudbury and vicinity advising of a risk of freezing rain Tuesday morning.
"The risk of freezing rain will begin early Tuesday morning and diminish by late morning as temperatures rise above the freezing mark," the statement reads. "Travel conditions may deteriorate Tuesday morning as untreated surfaces may become icy and slippery.
Environment Canada is closely monitoring the situation and freezing rain warnings may be issued as this event draws closer."
