Work begins Tuesday on culvert replacement on Belisle Drive in Val Caron. The work will close the road between Lamondind Drive and White Street until Aug.1.
“Residents and businesses on the north side of Belisle can be accessed through MR 15 (Main Street) and the south side of Belisle will remain accessible from Valley View Road,” Greater Sudbury said in a news release. “Detour signs will be in place during the road closure.”
On Lorne Street, meanwhile, storm sewer replacement and concrete curb work will close the intersection of Lorne and Quinn street Tuesday and Wednesday.
Access to local traffic and emergency vehicles will be maintained.
