Road work will cause closures, delays this week

Contractors will be completing work at several sites around the city this week

A number of roads projects will close lanes and cause traffic delays this week around Greater Sudbury.

A private contractor will close the northbound curb lane on Regent Street, opposite 1889 Paris Street from Aug.14-18. Work will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sub-drain and asphalt boulevard installation will close the westbound curb lane on the Kingsway from Northern Nissan to Mazda from Aug. 14-18.  Pedestrians are asked to walk on the south side of the road when possible. Work will be done between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Traffic control will be in place.

 

Water and sewer main improvements will close the intersection of Lamothe Street and Holland Road Aug. 14-18. Detour signs will be in place.

 

A man hole repair will close the northbound curb lane on Regent street at the Service Road intersection on Aug. 11 at 2 p.m. until Saturday, Aug. 12 at 6 p.m.
