The wet weather did not dampen spirits at the 2016 Greater Sudbury Santa Claus Parade as the parade attracted more than 20,000 spectators who lined the streets of downtown sudbury to wait for the chance to see Santa.
This was the 17th year for the night parade and it continues to be the official ‘kick-off’ to the Christmas season in the city of Greater Sudbury.
On Dec. 1, parade organizers announced the winners of the 2016 Santa Claus Parade awards at ceremony held at Tom Davies Square.
