Photos: Two Lively homes 'destroyed' after Saturday's fire

No injuries reported

Greater Sudbury Fire Services responded to a structure fire around 5:35 p.m. on Chinaberry Drive in Lively Saturday evening, which ultimately led to the destruction of two homes on the suburban street.

Platoon Chief Phil Langis said the two homes were "destroyed" by the fire, which is estimated to have caused $385,000 worth of damage to each home, not including the monetary value of its contents.

No injuries have been reported.

There is an ongoing investigation into the cause of the fire, although Langis said a neighbour believes the fire started in the garage of one of the two homes.

This story will be updated as more information is made available.
