A Sault Ste. Marie-based security and protection services firm has expanded east into the Nickel City.
NORPRO Company announced on Dec. 1 of the opening of its new Sudbury office on 487 Bouchard St., just off Regent Street, near the South End of the city.
Founded in 1980, the growth-minded company has expanded in the last several years into services involving information technology (IT), facilities maintenance, business support, and health & safety.

In its news release, the company is emphasizing its competitive pricing in security services, particularly patrol, static guards, and live remote monitoring solutions.
“As we continue to expand our operations into Northern Ontario markets, we are committed to each of our partners to meet their needs and exceed expectations,” said company president Brad Gregorini in the release.
"Due to the increased level of business activity and the focus on growing our network here in Greater Sudbury, the most efficient way to service our clients was to set up a physical office here in the city. We are very pleased to be joining a growing business community."
