Science North renovations begin

To make room for “new experiences” and “more modern facilities,” Science North is undergoing some changes. From Oct. 30 to Nov. 5, the Vale Cavern will be closed as drain holes are drilled. Some noise interruptions are expected on Level 2. From Nov.

To make room for “new experiences” and “more modern facilities,” Science North is undergoing some changes.

From Oct. 30 to Nov. 5, the Vale Cavern will be closed as drain holes are drilled. Some noise interruptions are expected on Level 2.

From Nov. 6 to Nov. 12, construction will begin on the concrete exterior of the tunnel, and the cavern will be shut down so seats can be refurbished.

During the week of Nov. 13, the MegaBites café will close. Café Boreal, the snack bar by the Imax theatre, will be open and will offer a more extensive lunch menu though.

Green energy systems are also being installed.
