Nickel Belt MP Marc Serré will host a town hall meeting to discuss the CN rail crossing at Young Street, in Capreol, on Thursday, Oct. 13.

The meeting, which starts at 6 p.m. at the Capreol Arena hall, will allow constituents to share their concerns about the crossing and help resolve the issue for all residents and business owners in the region.

Residents have raised concerns about long waits at the crossing – often 20 minutes or more – due to the way CN manages its crew changes in Capreol.

CN has told local media it is aware of the situation at the crossing and is discussing possible solutions with local officials.
